We are excited to say that work has begun on our Field of Dreams project!

 

On Monday 21st June, Walker Construction arrived on site to begin the first phase of the project: putting in drainage, building the pitch, and creating a new road and access.

 

This phase is due to be completed by early December 2021 and we are very grateful to Kent County Council for their donation to complete this phase.

 

Fundraising for the pavilion build is now underway. Estimated costs for this phase are in the region of £450,000.

 

Something we strongly believe is that all children and young people should be able to access outdoor sport and leisure spaces, but in reality there are no spaces like this within our local area that allow our special children access to play, or be included in sporting activities.

 

We want to change this and ensure that everyone has fair access to all opportunities.

 

Our dream is that once completed, our sport and leisure hub will provide a safe, specialized, accessible space to promote physical wellbeing and social development that can be enjoyed by all special families in our community.
