A letter will be coming home to you all this afternoon regarding remote learning for pupils/students.
Over the past few days, there has been an increase in the amount of local schools closing bubbles, year groups or the whole building which impacts on the amount of staff we have in our school due to staff, who are parents of young children, having to be at home to look after them.
In order to remain open to all pupils whose parents/carers are Key Workers or who wish for their child to remain at school, we will be authorising remote learning for any parent/carer willing for their child to receive their education, for a limited amount of time, in this way.
We do not want any parent/carer feeling pressured into keeping their children at home - it is our plan that we will remain open to all pupils/students wanting/needing to remain at school however, should staffing reduce further, we may be required to implement further measures in order to ensure the health and safety of all of our pupils and students.
