The changes all relate to the wearing of face coverings. In line with step 3 of the government road map, face coverings are no longer recommended for students in classrooms or in communal areas in all schools. Those who choose to wear one whilst moving down corridors are still free to do so.
All parents/carers should continue to wear face coverings whilst inside the school building, however face coverings do not need to be worn outside. Staff do not have to wear face coverings outside, including when collecting pupils. Face coverings can be taken off when exiting the building using Covid-secure methods, ensuring hand hygiene and hygienic storage of face coverings when not in use.
