Crowd Funder Success

Foreland's Field of Dreams project is creating a specialist disability sport and leisure hub behind Foreland Fields School. The hub will consist of a grass football pitch and sports field, pavilion, horticulture area, arts area, and Forest School. The Field of Dreams will be used by the children and young people of Foreland Fields School on a daily basis, while other local disability groups will use the facilities in the evenings, weekends, and holidays.

The center pin of this project will be a fully inclusive pavilion that will house a Changing Places room with hoist, accessible toilets, showers, changing rooms, an education and training space, and a kitchen. 

The cost to build the pavilion has been given as £445,000.

We set up a crowd funder to raise £25,000 towards the costs of the changing area.

We are really pleased to announce that we achieved our target for this part of the project. A huge ‘Thank You’ to everybody who shared and/or donated to our Crowdfunding campaign. We managed to raise over £25,000
