Employer Information

Foreland Fields School would love to hear from prospective employers who would be willing to support our students with meaningful encounters in school, offer work experience or host a workplace visit.

Students have a variety of special educational needs and require extra support in finding the right career path for them. Your support could make a huge difference to a young person's life.

There are many ways you can share your experience and help build our students' knowledge of employability skills, the workplace, the labour market and job search skills.  Foreland Fields School has a well-established Career Development program which we constantly update and evolve. We have a whole host of activities you could join in with and we are always open to new ways of developing our future workforce if you have ideas of your own!

Examples include workplace visits for 12-14 year olds (small groups with high support), Next Steps events, one to one careers coaching, Virtual talks and Q and A, industry insights, year 11 and 13 work experience, mock interviews for 15-17 year olds and various themed carousel events.  If you can spare the time to help one or more of these things please give Helen Newman a call on 01843 863 8891 or email helennewman@foreland.kent.sch.uk
