The equality Act 2010 requires schools to publish specific and measurable equality objectives. Foreland Field’s School’s Equality Objectives are based on analysis of data and other evidence.
Our equality objectives focus on those areas where we have agreed to take action to improve equality and tackle disadvantages.
We will regularly review the progress we are making to meet our equality objectives.
Foreland Fields School Equality Objectives 2019-2022:
To introduce appropriate curriculum pathways for all pupils and students that meet the needs of all learners.
Provide opportunities within the revised curriculum pathways to look at other cultures/countries and study famous people from ethnic minorities and those with a variety of abilities in order to promote and celebrate diversity.
Work with a range of agencies to improve options for school leavers including access to employment.
