Filtering at Foreland Fields School

Keeping Children Safe in Education obliges schools and colleges in England to “ensure appropriate filters and appropriate monitoring systems are in place” and they “should be doing all that they reasonably can to limit children’s exposure to the above risks from the school’s or college’s IT system”

At Foreland Fields School will do all we reasonably can to limit children’s exposure to online harms through school provided devices, systems, platforms and networks. In line with the requirements of the Prevent Duty and KCSIE, we will ensure that appropriate filtering and monitoring systems are in place.

This includes ensuring application of appropriate filtering and monitoring to both static content, as well as dynamic and AI-generated materials, products and/or systems used.
