Hello and welcome to my page. My name is Sharon Bremner.  I am the Family Liaison Officer (FLO) at Foreland Fields School. I have worked in both special and mainstream schools for many years in a range of different positions.

My role at Foreland Fields School is to support students, parents and families. Sometimes we all need a little help and support, and do not know where to turn. I enjoy working with parents and carers to address issues and if I can’t help, I can find an agency that can.

I organise training, workshops, speakers and fun things too, including an annual family trip to the pantomime in Canterbury. I have also organised a very popular Transition Event for parents with students leaving our school, check out the ‘What’s Next’ page on this website for more information.

Along with my FLO role I am a member of the Safeguarding Team along with the Headteacher and Deputies.  The safety of students, parents and staff is taken very seriously. From time to time I may speak to you about a concern or query and offer support according to need, following Kent County Council and Government guidelines at all times.

We want you to feel like you are a big part of the school community. We value your comments and support. Please feel free to share any comments or ideas you may have. Better still, become a parent representative for your child’s class at the Parent/Carer Forum. For more information, go to ‘Parent Forum' page on the this website.

I can be contacted via the school office, class DOJO, or the email address above. l Alternatively, you can usually catch me at the pedestrian gate at the beginning and end of each school day. It would be great to hear from you!
