Uniform

Foreland Fields School uniform can be purchased from the uniform shop at:

National Schoolwear Centre
56 Addington Street
Margate
Kent
CT9 1QS

The uniform consists of a burgundy sweatshirt, burgundy or white collared t-shirt and black/grey trousers, dress or skirt. A fleece is also available.

The school prefers pupils to wear school uniform but does understand that some variation is helpful in order to meet certain needs e.g. jogging bottoms rather than traditional school trousers and plain white polo shirts for those who require frequent changes. Pupils may wish to wear shorts or check summer dresses in the warmer weather. There is no need for parents to purchase uniform from the National Schoolwear Centre, we are happy for pupils to wear items of the same colour that do not contain the school logo.

We ask that parents provide clearly name clothing. A change of clothing for children who may wet or soil themselves is always useful and warm clothing for children who make long journeys in winter is also, of course, essential.

Children of all ages need a basic P.E. kit and pupils may need clothing for more specific activities from time to time e.g. waterproof jackets and wellington boots for Forest School — specific details will be provided by class / department teams.

The school carries a number of second hand clothing items which can be purchased at very low cost. Please contact our Family Liaison Officer Sharon Bremner for further details sharonbremner@foreland.kent.sch.uk.

Children who wear incontinence pads or nappies should be sent in to school with a stock of spares. Parents requiring such items should contact the Children's Continence Product Service on 01227 594633.
