DfE/UKHSA Guidance on the Meningoccal Disease Outbreak in Kent

We are receiving a number of calls about this matter, so hope to reassure you with the detail below.

As part of the incident response, UKHSA will directly contact any schools or colleges linked to the outbreak, advising on any necessary public health measures including identification of close contacts and antibiotic treatment.

Foreland Fields has NOT been contacted and so the school remains open. Students can and should continue to attend the school as normal.

Obviously if the situation changes, we will react quickly, informing you of any action that needs to be taken.
